We're looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor for a new opportunity with an independently owned private practice with most work based to the south of the region. This firm has a really good mix of work with clients in both the public and private sectors and provides a full range of building and project consultancy services although the bias to this role is more project led..
The successful candidate will initially be involved in an extensive schools commission with work including condition surveys and PPM, schedules of condition and writing specifications and the successful delivery of subsequent projects. Ideally you will need to have experience in this sector although this isn't a requirement with good overall Building Surveying and Project Management experience. We are however looking for a Chartered (Mrics) Surveyor for this appointment.
This is a very forward thinking dynamic firm who are very much taking the lead in promoting a healthy work/life balance and promoting flexible working practices which are aimed at empowering their team and promoting well being. They will be continuing to work partly remotely with perhaps 1-2 days in the office and a similar amount of time anticipated on site visits. Much of the work on this particular commission is based towards the south of the Midlands.
