Civil Design Engineer
Location: Chesham
Type: Full-Time, Permanent, On-Site.
Required Knowledge: Between 1-4 years of consultancy experience in drainage and/or highways design. (This is a rough guide, but candidates of all experience levels will be considered).

Company:
Your new company are an SME specialist Civil and Structural consultancy, who punch significantly above their weight. Competing with the big names in the industry, they undertake civil infrastructure design for large schemes which are complex in nature, in the residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors.

They are keen to welcome a new engineer into their supportive, and familiar team, where you will become part of a sociable family of experts and be driven to do your best work, and receive the support you need to thrive.

Role:
You will join a friendly team of 5 Engineers and will be working on drainage, highways and earthworks design for various developments, from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

As part of the civils team you will deliver drainage, highways (s278, s38), earthworks and pavement design for residential, retail, commercial and industrial projects.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of civil infrastructure design for developments, including roads and drainage.
  • Knowledge of design software which may include AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, Site3D and PDS.
  • Full UK Driver's License or equivalent reliable mode of transport, to visit the office for most of a week.
