Key Responsibilities
Kier are currently looking to recruit a Civils Supervisor for our Falcon Cities Projects with our Client Openreach. You will be based out of Falkirk and Site Based within the region. This role will assist with our contracts throughout Scotland.
You will be working into the Civils Delivery Manager. Your role will be to ensure we get the best out of Direct Labour and Supplier Resource on site on a day-to-day basis. Making sure safe systems of work are always followed and carrying out quality audits on jobs ensuring Safety is followed at all times. Your role as supervisor you will be responsible for co-ordinating, supervision and quality of all our civils works, including responsibility for meeting timelines and how we perform whilst ensuring the right behaviours are being followed on site from Safety aspect.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following.
- Civils Telecoms experience required
- Worked in a Civils Supervisory Role
- NRSWA
- Ability to understand and implement agreed plans which support the needs of the business and support operational effectiveness.
- The ability to work collaboratively with Stakeholders both within the client arena and the supply chain.
- An ability to understand and operate within a process driven environment.
- A strong technical background across multiple disciplines that are relevant to projects being overseen is necessary.
- Understanding of all accreditations and ensuring all gangs are have the accreditations required to do the job.
- Aware of all H&S aspects
- Training can be provided
