We're looking for a Civils Operative to join our Highways Team based in Birmingham to be part of a streetlighting contract. Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities

As a Civils Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team, supporting them on the busy streetlighting contract.

Your day to day will include:

  • Excavating a variety of excavations and tracks within the footpaths
  • Responsible for ensuring excavations depths and measurements comply with the Western Power regulations
  • Being involved in other streetlighting aspects
Who are we looking for?

This role of Civils Operative is great for you if have:

  • Previous experience of excavations adhering to HSG 47 as well as knowledge of various streetlighting civils tasks
  • NRSWA Operative
  • Full driving licence
