An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join our team at our Head Office in Huntington, York. Working as part of a team the role will involve cleaning production, office, toilet, and welfare areas. The role is essential in maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness across our York Head Office site. Role Details
  • Hourly Rate: £10.45 with potential to rise to £13.55 including merit rate.
  • Role based: York, YO32 9PT
  • Contract type: Full time, Permanent
  • Annual leave: 24 days plus bank holidays
  • Shift times: Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 16:30 and Friday 7:30 - 12:30
  • No evening or weekend work
Role Responsibilities
  • Undertake a cleaning service in accordance with the work instructions provided
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is kept in good order
  • Empty waste bins and transfer to disposal points / recycling points
  • Safe use of cleaning products (COSHH controlled)
  • Replenish stock of all consumables in welfare areas

Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has:
  • Cleaning experience in both an office and production environment
  • Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of COSHH relevant to cleaning products
  • Manual Handling experience
  • Ability to manage own time
