Clerk of Works job in Bristol, Somerset

Clerk of Works job working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bristol. Our client is now looking to speak to candidates with experience who have experience in inspecting and monitoring quality on residential new-build projects across the South West. For this role, they are offering a salary of up to £50,000 + £2,000 Car Allowance.

Our client is a RICS regulated firm that has been established for over 30 years. They provide services throughout London and the South of England. They are now looking for a Clerk of Works to inspect sites that span across the M4/M5 corridor.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure site Health and Safety Plan is being adhered to
  • Liaise with the project site teams
  • Advise on materials, construction details and samples as necessary
  • Write detailed site reports and recommendations
  • Check works in line with UK Building Regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Former new-build experience
  • MICWCI is preferable but willingness to work towards MICWCI is essential
  • Willingness to travel across the South West
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
