Job Description

As a Cloud & Application Engineer, you'll manage, secure, and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while delivering high-level technical support. You'll automate processes, solve complex cloud issues, and ensure seamless collaboration across clients and internal teams.

Employment type: Full-time
Shift: Night shift (7 AM-4 PM or 9 AM-6 PM), Weekends Off
Work setup: Onsite (Open to starting in-office and then WFH), Cebu

  • The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, IT system administration, or Microsoft 365/Azure support; or 6+ years of equivalent professional experience in cloud engineering or Microsoft 365/Azure support.
  • Background in managed IT services, cloud solutions, IT consulting, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles within IT support or cloud administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Intune / Endpoint Manager and device management.
  • Experience in cloud migration projects and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to assist teammates in both simple and complex tasks.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Highly Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of security configuration and compliance standards.
  • Experience working with firewalls and VPNs.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 or Azure Administrator; AZ-900 certification preferred.
  • Your Daily Tasks

  • Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 apps: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
  • Manage Azure services, including Active Directory and virtual desktops
  • Provide Tier II/III support for escalated cloud issues
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM), MFA, and security policies
  • Use PowerShell scripting to automate cloud administration tasks
  • Customer Communication & Satisfaction

  • Provide regular updates to clients on ticket status and resolution timelines
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders
  • Document resolutions and troubleshooting details in ticketing systems
  • Process & Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate client system documentation and internal knowledge base
  • Manage support tickets with vendors and ensure SLA adherence
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in vendor trainings and certifications
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion or sales referrals
  • Maintain professionalism and collaboration across teams
