An experienced CNC miller is required for our engineering client based in Mansfield. This is an engineering role for a precision based client.

Key skills

  • Operate and set up CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each engineering job.
  • Monitor CNC miller machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity

Requirements

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software for creating or modifying programs
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements using various tools that a CNC miller would use (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
  • Strong problem-solving skills. CNC miller must have ability to troubleshoot machine issues
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or programming

Working times

Monday to Thursday 7.30am TO 4pm/ Friday 7.30am to 3pm
