My client is an established manufacturer based in Leicester with a distinguished reputation, looking to recruit skilled CNC Programmers to join their busy team. Commutable from Leicester, Oadby, Wigston, Beaumont Leys and surrounding areas.
Permanent Opportunity
Paying between £23400 up to £31200 per hour based on skills test and shift
Multiple shifts available - days afternoons or nights.
THE ROLE OF THE CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER
To program the CNC turner machines working closely alongside the operators and setters to ensure the smooth running of the machines, this will include setting up programs on the machine and editing them when needed to on the shopfloor.
To program a variety of different systems and operating systems to tight tolerances.
Programming the CNC turning machines making minor adjustments to tools as and when required.
Assist in the workshop on other sections as and when needed.
THE CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER
Minimum 2 years experience programming CNC Turner machines.
Able to ready and understand engineering drawings.
Experience of measuring finished productions using inspection tools.
Knowledge of working with a variety of different metals.
