Paying up to £30,000 depending on Experience

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 15:30 PM

My client is a specialist manufacturer based in Bingham with a distinguished reputation, looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner Setter / Programmer to join their busy team. Commutable from Nottingham, Grantham, Newark on trent and surrounding areas.

THE ROLE OF THE CNC TURNER SETTER OPERATOR

To both set and operate the CNC Turning machine working on Fanuc controls to make a variety of cylinders and gearbox components.

Editing Programs as and when required to.

Working closely alongside the operators and setters to ensure the smooth running of the machines, this will include editing tools as and when needed to.

Working to tolerances as tight as a Thou.

Operating the CNC Turning machines making minor adjustments as and when required.

Assist in the workshop on other sections.

THE CNC TURNER SETTER PROGRAMMER

Experienced within both the setting and operating of CNC Turning machines

Must have a basic knowledge of programming on the CNC Turning machines

Experience working on Fanuc control system.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Has the ability to work to tolerances as tight as a thou.

Experience of measuring finished productions using inspection tools.

Team Player.
