JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a TIG welder, you will be responsible for welding a variety of metal parts using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding process. You will work with various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, and will need to be able to work with both thin sheet metal and thick plate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding operations according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure welding is performed with precision and accuracy
- Inspect and troubleshoot weld defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Work with the production team to ensure production targets are met
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a TIG welder in a factory environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with welding a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
