Job Purpose:
To provide a comprehensive reception and information service to all external and internal customers and ensure that the details of all enquiries are captured on the College's enquiry system, complying with General Data Protection Regulations, and that all information requests are fulfilled. To assist with a range of activities in order to convert enquirers into applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide an effective first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
2. To provide a course information service to potential students - in person, over the telephone, via e-mail or social media - taking details of enquiries, fulfilling requests and referring enquiries when appropriate.
3. To ensure that all enquiry details are collected and maintained in line with College procedures and the General Data Protection Regulations.
4. To ensure e-mails for the generic College account are responded to within 24 working hours.
5. To manage the VIP parking area, including communicating with visitors and liaising with the Estates team to ensure reserved parking spaces are managed effectively.
6. To manage the presentation and the functionality of the reception, information and visitors' areas, ensuring high standards.
7. To ensure that stocks and displays of College literature are kept at an adequate level. To be responsible for ensuring that out-of-date information or publicity material is withdrawn.
8. To represent the College at external events, including school careers evenings, and a variety of events held in the City, and to give presentations on the College's offer to school pupils.

9. To support the Marketing & Student Recruitment Officer in the organisation and running of a range of internal recruitment events, including course information drop-ins, open days and course taster sessions.
10. Undertake such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as may reasonably be required and you will be required to be trained to administer first aid, if necessary.
