Commercial Advisor / Originator - Power / Renewable Energy

An opportunity to join a global company. The role is with a leading hydropower company and Europe's largest generator of renewable energy.

They are looking for a capable applicant to join their team based in Espoo to help in lead power purchase agreements, processes and negotiations from cradle to grave.

  • To build and maintain strong and long-term relations with customers and business partners
  • The main focus will be on Finnish industrial customers, however you will also contribute and support across borders and segments
  • Create value by initiating driving sales activities and processes
  • Identify, develop and implement new products and structured solutions in the Nordic market
  • Close collaboration with other team members and across our organization to maximize value creation and streamline operations
  • Secure clear and respectful communication across internal and external stakeholders

The ideal applicant

  • University degree preferably in economics, engineering, business, law or similar
  • Experience within the field of sales and origination, preferably in the energy market, power or similar
  • Experience in negotiation of agreement and other trading frameworks is an advantage
  • Very good negotiation skills and strong commercial mindset
  • High motivation level, self-going and a structured, yet creative, approach
  • Team player with excellent communication skills in Finnish and English.
  • Managing business in Swedish language is also an advantage.
  • Strong intrapersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships internally and externally
  • High motivation level, self-going and a structured, yet creative, mindset
