Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: South East London
Salary: £46,000-£49,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent
Daniel Owen are currently working with a successful Heating company who are seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to work in South East London.
Commercial Gas Engineer Responsibilities:
- Carry out all elements of Commercial Gas work: installation, repair and maintenance within commercial environments
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Analyse faults/issues and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
- Adhere to the highest H&S standards at all times, complying with company H&S procedures
- Write reports documenting any faults and a summary of actions taken
- Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts
- Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services
- Always deliver the highest level of customer care, exceeding service delivery expectations and delivering 'The Perfect Repair'
- Complete and maintain site logs (written and electronic)
- Responsive callouts associated with heating / hot water systems, delivering a high level of first-time fix
- Emergency call out based on rota system
Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in the boiler industry (i.e. City and Guilds, NVQ)
- Current ACS commercial elements
- 5 years industry experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Good listening skills and strong verbal communication skills
