About the Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, operating across Hampshire and surrounding counties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of commercial gas systems across a range of commercial properties including schools, healthcare, retail, and public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.

Diagnose faults and repair a wide variety of commercial gas systems and associated equipment.

Install new commercial gas appliances and pipework in line with current standards.

Complete safety checks and certifications (e.g., CP42, CP12, etc.).

Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high standard of work at all times.

Complete job reports, risk assessments, and compliance paperwork accurately and promptly.

Participate in the on-call rota (if applicable).

Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements Essential: Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (ACS: CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A).

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar commercial gas engineering role.

Good working knowledge of commercial boilers, warm air units, radiant tube heaters, etc.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage own workload.

Desirable: Domestic gas qualifications (for mixed-use contracts).

LPG or oil qualifications.

F-Gas qualification (if working on HVAC systems).

Experience with building management systems (BMS).

DBS clearance (may be required depending on contracts).
