We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Utilities team based in Bournemouth on our South West Water and Bournemouth Water AMP Framework to work on the Alderney water treatment works site. Within this role, you can enjoy working on a project that will help provide customers and the community with safe and clean drinking water.



Location: Based near to the site in Bournemouth with remote working available

Contract: Full Time, permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know



Responsibilities



As a Commercial Manager, you'll manage resources (people and finance) and support them in maximising planned gross margin through placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.




Your day to day will include:



· Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks and supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations.

· Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers.

· Delivering periodic reporting requirements within deadlines provided.

· Responsibility for the line management of the Quantity Surveying team within the department.

· Ensuring accurate forecasting across all projects within the department through to the delivery of this forecast via the monthly reporting process.



What are we looking for?


This role of Commercial Manager is great for you if you:



· Hold a Degree in Surveying or proven experience in commercial management

· Hold knowledge of NEC contracts

· Have a full Driving Licence
