Commercial Manager - Building Materials
Owing to an internal promotion, Breedon are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to support our General Manager in our Eastern region, covering the East of England from the Humber through Lincolnshire and East Anglia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial business in the pursuit of winning work and exceptional customer service in order to deliver continual improvement in line with the business strategy.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Create, maintain and manage relationships with key business customers
- Effectively manage and lead the commercial team in order to deliver success
- Produce accurate business forecasts
- Identify solutions on key business opportunities and grow the business into emerging markets
- Liaise with key business stakeholders in order to maximise knowledge and opportunities, and ensure customer issues are actioned and resolved
You will possess strong selling, negotiation and interpersonal skills, along with sound strategic, budgetary and financial knowledge. It is also essential that you are IT literate and have excellent organisational, presentation and analytical skills. Relevant quarrying, concrete and asphalt knowledge is essential to the role.
