We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Residential / Mixed Scheme and Commercial Projects team based in London and Loughton. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to large scale projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications and even more
Location: London/Loughton, England
Contract: Permanent, full time or part time, agile working available
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Manager, you'll manage a team, ensuring penalty charges & risks are minimised, with full accountability of profitability, margins, cash targets, forecasts, variations, contract reviews and overall contract performance.
Your day to day will include:
- Taking ownership of the lifecycle works, including lifecycle plans, variations, costs and planning expenditure
- Maintaining relationships with all stakeholders, including regularly meeting & visiting operational teams & clients at site; and ensuring resourcing and capacity management against varying project demand
- Leading the process associated with market testing, benchmarking, utilities reconciliations and agreements of new rates alongside leading client dispute resolutions
Who are we looking for?
This role of Commercial Manager is great for you if you:
- Hold a relevant commercial, finance or construction/property qualifications, and are chartered or working towards your chartership
- Have experience in a Construction commercial & contract environment, preferably with focus on Residential mixed use and Commercial projects as well as experience in a similar role
- Have experience of management, with the ability to develop & motivate colleagues, while effectively influencing stakeholders
