Commercial Manager
Working for a Sub-contractor in the infrastructure sector on projects up to £5 million in value.
Location: Flexible at either Crawley or Slough
Salary: £80,000 basic + Car + Package
Overview:
The Resolute Group has been retained by a regional Subcontractor that is experiencing continued growth and they need a Commercial Manager to support the leadership and next phase of the business's expansion.
Project values range from 50k to £5m focused on NEC-based contractors with clients in the infrastructure sector. Working as both a Sub-contractor to Tier 1 clients as well as working for clients directly on minor projects as the Tier 1 contractor. The business needs a Commercial Manager that will develop into a Head of in the future and part of the leadership team.
When working for a smaller business you need to be flexible and agile, able to work between setting up new contracts, working with the Leadership team on new projects, to managing the junior Quantity Surveyors in delivering the projects on-site through to final accounts.
You will be the experienced Commercial professional leading on all commercial issues and being a valued member of the team. Supporting, advising and giving the business the extra knowledge and skills to take the business into a £20m+ business in the next 12 - 24 months.
With offices based in Slough and Crawley, you will be able to work as required at each as well as on a hybrid basis from home as required. The key thing is this business has under 100 employees and growing, it needs people willing to do what it takes to make it successful, and who know how a small business operates.
Your background:
- Commercial qualification - Ideally in Quantity Surveying be it HNC / HND or Degree
- Previous Commercial Management experience with in the smaller £50m t/o and under Sub contractors so you are used to how they operate.
