Breedon is a leading construction materials group in the UK and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete and mortar plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import/export terminals and two slate production facilities.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Support Administrator based at Welsh Slate, Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda, North Wales.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Ensure that all customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, contributing to the commercial effort for all products.
  • Sales order processing, ensuring all information is correct and added to the system ahead of the invoicing process.
  • Monitor and follow through customer invoice queries to ensure prompt resolution to enable customer payment.
  • Regular communication with credit control and commercial teams to ensure customers are invoiced correctly and customer queries are resolved promptly.
  • Seek out sales opportunities utilising sales lead management system together with existing customer databases.
  • Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications.
  • Log and administer sample requests for all products.
  • Develop a technical understanding of all products, providing technical support and information when required.
  • Deal effectively with complaints and queries, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required for the efficient and smooth running of the business

The successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with key stakeholders including credit control and commercial teams, ensuring great customer service. You must be highly organised, a strong team player and have the ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders. GCSE level Maths and English are required, along with excellent IT skills. Previous experience of working in a busy administrative role would be advantageous.
