Job Title: Communications Manager

Hours: Full Time

Location: Flexible - Maidenhead / M4 corridor

We have an opportunity for an energetic Communications Specialist, who is used to managing several projects at one time, to join our prestigious Thames Water joint venture (known as KCD).

Reporting into the JV Director and working closely with the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing the internal communication strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a communications procedure, specifically finding smarter ways to communicate to joint venture colleagues
  • Prepare internal communications such as newsletters, cascade packs etc.
  • Manage internal communications channels and measure their effectiveness
  • Provide guidance to people managers in communicating with their teams
  • Collate, write and share stories about projects and progress made across KCD
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with both JV Partners' and Thames Water's Communications teams to promote positive news stories from the JV
  • Manage and continually develop the KCD LinkedIn presence, in addition to following, liking and sharing our clients, colleagues' and competitor posts to encourage greater collaboration
  • Develop a network of key influencers within the business, to support regular comms updates
  • Coordinate branding requirements and ensure all printed and digital collateral is appropriately branded
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

If you have extensive communications experience, can simplify data and content, have plenty of initiative and resilience, along with experience of designing comms, then the answer is probably YES!
