Job Role
You will develop and deliver the customer and community investment service with the Quality and Standards Manager to ensure we have a range of customer focused activities and structures to ensure resident engagement and involvement is at the heart of the organisation services.
Part of the role will be build strong and effective partnerships that attract investment into the organisation to help make a difference at customer and neighbourhood levels.
You will help build the capacity of our active residents and involve residents and seek ways to engaging at a wider level.
You will have a key role in implementing the team's work area as directed by the quality & Standards manager to ensure a high level of professionalism and continuously improving and effective customer service is delivered at all times.
You will explore new opportunities for funding to bid for and set up new projects to provide value to existing and new customers of the association with emphasis on social, digital and financial exclusion.
You will need to develop plans for bids, construct new bids and associated paperwork to draw funding into the neighbourhood agenda, such as Think Family.
You will be responsible for developing SMART targets and measurement mechanisms for all aspects of customer involvement, to ensure clarity and guidance and expectation of staff and feed back to customers .
You will help develop continuous improvement plans at a neighbourhood level with the Housing and Neighbourhood teams.
You will help organise community events such as fun days to help reach all tenants in the community
You will be an effective ambassador for the organisation.
You will ensure a safe working environment in accordance with all health and safety regulations
You will attend fire drills and staff meetings, as well as staff training events as and when required.
You will at all times respect the confidential nature of personal information, as well as recognise and promote to the organisation Equality and Diversity Strategy.
Person
You will have experience of working in a similar role and have a resident or community qualification.
You will have experience of managing projects
You must have sound knowledge of good practice in relation to resident involvement. You will also be able to to demonstrate continuous improvement to resident involvement and have a track record in resident and community outcomes.
You will have project management skills and have experience of attracting inward investment and fundraising.
You will have excellent IT skills.
You must be able to listen, question, show empathy and relate well to people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
