The Opportunity:
The Compliance Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support, ensuring that Explore Manufacture remains fully compliant with all relevant SHEQ legislation, as well as full alignment with both corporate and business line policy and procedure.
The role will work in close collaboration with all department leads and functional areas of the business, from work winning to manufacturing, and engineering to project coordination to improve certainty and service. You will also support local and group leadership in developing strategic business direction.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have broad operations and quality background, preferably gained within a precast manufacturing facility. Key attributes will include:
- Experience as an Engineer or Manager in a QA / QC environment.
- Knowledgeable in precast manufacture, ISO 9001:2015, quality audits, inspection processes, document control, and process change.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Clear understanding of HSE issues and their implementation in everyday work.
- Focused on meeting deadlines with good planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently. Prioritises and orchestrates workload to ensure objectives are met and changing priorities are accommodated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing .environment
