Job Summary
Business success and an increasing work load has resulted in a necessity for additional Hoist Fitters to join our fast expanding very busy team. We are looking to recruit experienced and trainee Hoist Fitters for the installation, maintenance and repair of Rack & Pinion Hoists on construction and industrial sites in the UK including the Borough of London.
Successful candidates would have the ability to work safely at height, to use hand tools in a safe manner, have the confidence to communicate with site contractors and complete the appropriate paperwork. Experience/certification in Rack & Pinion Hoists and/or Mechanical & Electrical assembly would be an advantage, but training can be provided for enthusiastic trainees with the right work ethic.
Candidates with a mechanical and/or an electrical engineering qualification would have an advantage.
An opportunity to progress to Lead Fitter would also be available for those with supervisory ability.
A valid driving licence is essential with a willingness to travel UK wide including London. The ability to work long hours and to stay away from home to meet business needs is important for this role to be a success. A valid CSCS card would also be desirable.

Ideally, candidates will be based within a 40 mile radius of London, or around the Northamptonshire M1, or Peterborough A1 corridor. Competitive salary of £40K OTE, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Minimum of 40 hours per week plus travel time (paid) and overtime. 28 days holiday.

Responsibilities and Duties
Attend construction and industrial sites to install, dismantle, repair and service hoist equipment as part of a team.
Qualifications and Skills
