Salary to £28264 pa
Our client is a leading training provider.
Job Purpose:
The Construction IQA / Trainer will liaise closely with the Centre Manager to ensure that the company standards / expectations for all assessment methods and procedures are met.
They will also teach, guide and support 14-18 year old learners (some with special educational needs), to enable them to achieve recognised qualifications in Construction (classroom based).
Please note that although this is primarily an IQA role, the successful candidate will also be required to assess a small caseload of learners too.
Applicants must have:
TAQA IQA and assessor awards (or equivalent)
A teaching qualification
A L3 or equivalent qualification in a Construction discipline i.e. Painting & Decorating, Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Plastering, Plumbing.
Recent, up to date and relevant occupational experience with the capability / flexibility to assess / deliver more than one discipline (multi skilled)
Experience of guiding and supporting young people.
Experience of organising EQA visits and liaising with the relevant awarding bodies
Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of QCF requirements
Driving licence and own transport
