Project specific opportunity - based at Basingstoke for 18-24 months during preconstruction phase then transferred to site in Harlow for a further 24 months. Kier is looking for a Construction Manager to join a highly successful team in delivery of a new high containment science facility for Public Health England in Harlow, Essex. The facility is part of the UK's national infrastructure and will be one of the largest, most complex facilities of its type in the country. Designed and Built to the highest standards, the facility will include a range of science and laboratory facilities including CL2, CL3 & CL4 suites, MRI suites and complex M+E and process systems. This project is a key part of the Strategic Projects business portfolio that spans a variety of sectors including commercial, science, healthcare and custodial. Working with our growing design and construction team you will need to ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters are managed on all project sites under your control, liaise with the project team to ensure the smooth delivery of the schemes during pre-construction and work with the team to define package scopes, programmes, interfaces and resolve issues. You will need a Construction related degree, have high level of knowledge and proven experience in the delivery of projects which are programme led along with experience of NEC contracts.
