We're looking for a Construction Manager/Works Manager to join our Mogden team based in Isleworth, Middlesex. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

As a Construction Manager/Works Manager you'll be working within the Mogden Team supporting them to ensure the site works are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with the prescribed contract, design, client and project requirements.

Your day to day will include:

  • You'll support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • You'll ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded and identify areas of development.
  • You'll liaise with the Commercial Team to produce financial forecasts and final cost and value reviews.
  • You'll have experience of working as part of a team to deliver objectives and able to implement changes where required, thus ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the specification.
  • You'll have a proven track record of successfully managing a project with strong leadership, management and problem-solving abilities.
Who are we looking for?

This role of Construction Manager/Works Manager is great for you if:

  • You are an operationally and commercially aware individual with a good understanding of Construction Management best practice and knowledge of the IChemE Burgundy Book Form of Contract, especially related to Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
  • You'll be IOSH Managing Safely qualified and have proven experience within the water or alternative utility sector and demonstrable knowledge and experience of construction requirements.
  • You'll also have a solid understanding of CDM regulations and ISO9001 quality processes with knowledge of Water industry specifications and industry standards. Knowledge and experience of Primavera P6, the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook) and project management techniques.
