About the role
Reporting to the Operations & Customer Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day delivery of clean (potable) water mainslaying schemes under the SWW NSA Contract, which includes both on and off-site mainslaying works. This role will see you responsible for site safety, training, TBT's and driving safety initiatives and upskilling of the workforce. You will be ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with CDM, the Construction Phase Plan, relevant safe systems of work, permits, process and procedures. In addition you will be involved with the procurement of plant, equipment and materials and ensuring quality control of mains installation works.
What do we need from you?
Directly responsible for managing 5/6 Supervisors, you will be an experienced and driven individual with a strong focus on safety, quality, programme, cost management and customer service.
To really make the most of the role, you will have experience in working on water related projects, including potable water mainslaying and Developer Services. You will have a demonstrable track record of managing construction teams for mainslaying work, and the ability to manage a programme of works for multiple concurrent schemes. You would also stand in great stead to be successful with the following qualifications- NRSWA Supervisor, EUSR Water Hygiene (Blue Card) and SHEA Water and WIRS level 2 NCO/SCMC training for Developer Services Mainslaying.
Due to the nature of the role, a Full Drivers Licence will also be required.
