One of the world's largest Global Data Centre Providers are looking for a new Construction Project Manager for their growing team. The position will see you lead a dedicated team of internal and external professionals to deliver industry leading Data Center construction, infrastructure and fit out projects at dedicated sites of the Frankfurt data center hub.

The company have a global network over 160 Data Centre facilities worldwide and are currently going through a hyper-growth phase with significant plans to expand their DC portfolio by 20%. Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for strategic planning and execution of Data Centre construction, fit out, infrastructure projects, as well as of post-handover projects at our Frankfurt sites
  • Manage, develop and coach a team of internal and external Construction Managers, Project Managers and Design Managers, and General/Sub- Contractors
  • Develop and foster a strong sense of ownership within the project delivery team and peer stakeholders to drive and maintain industry best practice standards across the campus
  • Govern, measure and if required correct project performance against key performance indicators and commitments across Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost targets
  • Collaborate with peers in Design and Engineering to ensure regulatory and permitting requirements are clearly defined, planned and executed on
  • Perform general Construction management tasks, including but not limited to Project, Cost and change management meetings, controls and reporting
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of project status to the Senior Regional Construction Program Manager and wider business
  • Continuously monitor, assess and address project staff, External Vendor and Contractor performance and have the ability to coach the respective teams and outline objective development opportunities where required

Your profile

  • Have experience in a site based management role within the construction industry, overseeing multiple concurrent capex projects.
  • Have extensive experience in the planning and delivery of large capex projects, varying delivery methods (Management Contracting, Traditional, D&B) and forms of contract (ie. FIDIC, JCT).
  • Demonstrate Data Centre construction experience.
  • Have experience in presenting to senior leadership both internally and within our Clients Teams.
  • Business fluent in German and English language
