Our client is a leading construction recruitment company dedicated to connecting top talent with innovative organisations in the construction industry.
Position Overview:
As a Recruiter based in Watford, you will play a pivotal role in their thriving organisation. You will have roles to work from day one. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and engaging top-tier talent within the construction sector, primarily focusing on mid to senior-level positions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and deliver exceptional recruitment solutions. Once you have passed a three month probation, you will then be working a 4 day week.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand their hiring requirements, provide insights, and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Execute full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape to identify and attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and networking events.
- Leveraging the firm's existing relationships to map out your own market focus.
- Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, evaluate qualifications, and make recommendations to clients based on their specific requirements.
- Effectively negotiate and facilitate the offer process, including managing compensation discussions and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor and maintaining regular communication throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative recruitment strategies, streamline processes, and contribute to the organisation's overall success.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in recruitment, specifically within the construction services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in mid to senior-level positions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
