HRG (Herts Resourcing Group- based onsite at HRC) is working in partnership with Protocol - a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, training providers, end-point assessment organisations and local authorities nationwide.
We are keen to have a number of candidates we can reach out too, therefore we are open to those who are interested in both temporary and permanent positions/ part time or full time.
We are looking for a Technician in Construction Trades to become a key member of the Construction department at a college in Hertfordshire. As a Technician in Construction Trades, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
Providing support and assistance to Lecturers and trainers in workshop areas, focused on Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Plumbing & Heating and Electrical.
Delivering lessons (practical only) to students
Maintaining workshop facilities and ensuring serviceability and security of tools and equipment, and ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met.
Our ideal candidates will have experience of working within the construction trades and knowledge of safe working practices
The person & qualifications
Have qualifications in a relevant subject.
Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate learners.
