We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services and we are now recruiting for a Consultancy Manager to join our Utilities team. This role will be working in our Source Design business that work on projects such as the utility design for Euston Station as part of the CSJV.
As Consultancy Manager you will be responsible for the development of consultancy business within the Source Design Business both internally to Kier and externally to the developer marketplace. You will be working closely with our Head of Design and managing a team of utility designers covering all the major disciplines- electric, water, communications and gas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification and conversion of opportunities in the marketplace
- Management of the team and their workloads which includes civil engineers, administrators, document controllers & CAD staff
- Provide technical knowledge to optioneer schemes to deliver optimum outputs
- Hold Chartered Engineer along with experience of generating income
- Experience of supervisory management
- Understand utilities from both technical and regulatory perspective
