Corporate 6+ PQE - Flexible Working Consultant Lawyers - No Following Required
We are looking for corporate lawyers who would like to work with us - no following required. You may already be working with another consultancy-based law firm and would like to supplement your earnings, or you may simply be seeking a far more flexible lifestyle without any of the pressure of billing targets or presenteeism.
Established in 2009, Ortolan Legal is a very different law firm. We have a thriving client base to whom we provide 'virtual' legal support delivered by experienced solicitors. We do this at a cost which compares extremely favourably with other law firms. We continue to grow strongly and our client base includes businesses ranging from FTSE 100 household names and multinational manufacturers to PE owned and proprietor managed companies in sectors as diverse as rail, logistics, professional services, manufacturing and high tech.
Our corporate workload is flourishing so we need to supplement our team and are looking for lawyers (solicitors or barristers) who would like to work with a business like ours. We would expect successful candidates to have excellent academic and work credentials and at least 6 years PQE. Equally importantly, you will need to be a good fit with our small team; so as well as being charismatic and personable, you will also be highly motivated, client focused and will have a demonstrably commercial approach with plenty of initiative.
All our lawyers work from home and are supported by the technology and resources they need to provide an excellent service. We are collegiate in the way we manage our business and we aim to put everyone in a position not only to achieve a great deal of job satisfaction, but also to really enjoy working with us. Our team brought this last statement to life at our annual conference in Mallorca last year!
Just to reiterate, we don't need you to bring any clients with you - we will provide you with interesting and challenging work.
Our model is based on flexible working, so we are looking for lawyers who would enjoy this type of work/life balance. We have an established compensation structure which rewards our lawyers well.
