Position: Content Marketing Executive

Location: Oldbury, West Midlands

Salary: £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site (40 hours per week)

Probation Completion: Possibility of hybrid work (1 day per week)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours with a 1-hour lunch break

Job Description:

As the Marketing Executive, you will report to the Head of Sales & Marketing and work across the client's brands. Your role will involve creating email marketing campaigns targeted at their existing customer database. The workload will be fast-paced and diverse, requiring strong copywriting skills and an eye for design. Initially, the focus will be on email campaigns, but the role will eventually expand to encompass the overall content and communication needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create content for marketing campaigns aimed at providing customer value and increasing retention.
  • Design and develop engaging copy for email campaigns.
  • Take charge of social media content creation for the client and their brands.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify content topics in demand and create SEO-friendly content, including blogs, social media content, and email newsletters.
  • Support internal events to foster an excellent company culture.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to produce leaflets, leave-behinds, and other branded materials in accordance with the client's brand guidelines.
  • Undertake any other activities that support the marketing strategy.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in a B2C environment.
  • Previous experience in the service sector is desirable.
  • Proficiency in SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Copywriting and content creation experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive and creative mindset.
  • Project management abilities.
