Location: Basingstoke office

Contract: full time, permanent, 40 hours Monday to Friday, cover for out of hours shift cover might be required from time to time. We may be able to be flexible with start and end times.
Salary: Circa £40,000 - £50,000 + a competitive benefits package
Kier Places are recruiting a Contract Administration Manager to join our Facilities Management team at our Basingstoke office to lead, manage & motivate the staff of the centralised helpdesk who are there to assist our internal and external stakeholders involved in carrying out important maintenance work for our clients. You will be a process owner for all Helpdesk processes across the business unit, identifying opportunities for improvement and financial efficiencies whilst ensuring a continuing profitable business and support the business as directed by the Operations & Managing Director.
Kier Places provide essential maintenance and property services to local authorities, councils, schools, the NHS, housing associations, and public sector government. As Contract Administration Manager joining our FM team, you will support the ongoing evolution & growth of Kier Places and be critical to achieving success in delivering our contracts, projects & works within the Facilities Management sector, with a national reach & local passion.
Key Responsibilities
As Contract Administration Manager / Helpdesk Manager you will manage the day-to-day organisation and service delivery of the front line customer service function including management of quality and volume of work. You will oversee the management of schedules as well as staff management: motivation, training and utilisation of agents.
In this role you will establish, manage and deliver a robust Helpdesk process in support of the Operational business to improve delivery and provide an efficient service standardised as far as possible across the business. Ensuring all statutory and contractual paperwork requirements are met the Contract Admin Manager will also ensure efficient utilisation of operations and subcontractors' staff in completion of works arising, as well as provide leadership & coordination to a team of CSC Advisors and team leaders to ensure that service levels are maintained.
What do we need from you?
With experience in a similar high-volume role the successful candidate will ideally hold a Customer Service related qualification with a Management qualification (NVQ4 and above). With excellent communication and interpersonal skills you will have a a passion for customer services and service excellence. It's important that you have team leader experience and qualities to help drive the teams success.
