Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer based in the South West? Are you looking for a contract position?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join a successful and well-established civil and structural design consultancy based in Plymouth.

Their portfolio of work is constantly growing, making them a very busy team. They work on a variety of structural engineering projects including retail, housing, leisure and commercial builds. You will be working on an exciting project within the marine sector, specifically a port design.

Requirements:

  • You will be Chartered with IStructE / ICE
  • BPSS Clearance
  • You will have proven experience in structural design on a broad range of projects and materials - steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Experience and ability to deliver successful projects and develop good working relationships with clients and key stakeholders


As a Chartered Structural Engineer you will be involved in projects from inception through to completion stage, assist in winning work, preparing fee proposals, engineering design, project management and mentoring junior staff.
