Contract Manager - FM PFI

Location: Garrett Anderson Centre, Ipswich Hospital

Business Area: Facilities Management - Ipswich NHS

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Contract Manager to join our team at Garrett Anderson Centre, at Ipswich Hospital in Ipswich, to support the delivery of a PFI Facilities Management Hard Services solution for our prestigious client, Ipswich NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

As a Contract Manager, you'll be an integral member of our operational team working on a PFI contract we hold with Ipswich NHS, managing senior level relationships with key stakeholders to ensure we meet contractual requirements for a team that delivers a variety of Hard Facilities Management services to our client.

You will be the first point of contact for the client and on-site team, responsible for day to day operational performance of the contracts including statutory compliance; ensuring processes and procedures comply with SLAs and KPIs; managing financial performance of the contract; ensuring compliance with the budgets, P&Ls and lifecycle plans; undertaking audits; and be responsible for 5 staff members at the site.

What do we need from you?

To be our Contract Manager, you should have suitable experience in a management position, experience in a PFI contract environment ideally, and as a bonus, experience within a hospital or healthcare FM environment. For this role a good understanding of Health and Safety is a must, and an IOSH Managing Safely certificate is preferable.

To really make the most of this role you should have experience with complying with PFI Contracts, have knowledge/responsibility for Statutory Compliance, and responsibility of Profit & Loss (P&L). Ideally, you'll have understanding and experience of Payment Mechanism, preparation and presentation of monthly reports - working knowledge of HTM (Healthcare Technical Memoradum) is a bonus.
