Role Overview

Contracts and Submittals Administrator required to join our Clients Sales & Estimating Team.

You will take responsibility for the preparation and submitting of all Technical Submittals and Specifications. The role also covers the area of compliance and the successful candidate will ensure that the products being offered by the Company on the numerous projects will meet the current requirements as outlined in the current Building Regulations.

Role Specific

Pre-Tender

  • Provide NBS specifications, product information and technical support relating to the Company's
  • Liaise with the company's supply chain and partners at the specification stage and ensure that Architects and Specifiers receive solutions for their project

Tender

  • Assist Estimating team in researching, identifying and specifying
  • Including technical specifications with quotations to qualify and supplement the proposals provided to potential
  • During sales negotiations, ensure that the Company's proposals are in full compliance with the project spec., and if not, identify where there is a difference

Post Tender

  • Prepare handover folders for the Contracts Department for orders
  • Meet with Company's Contracts team and appraise them of the details of all projects that are being undertaken.
  • Preparation and submitting of Technical Submittals to clients and ensure full and final approval of proposed product for the various projects being

General Duties

  • Support and provide technical advice on the Company's products as
  • Manage and maintain the Company technical information library and ensure that both libraries are easy to source and peruse.
  • Review all project information which is sent to Company for pricing, this will involve extracting the correct information for pricing from the project links sent from the main
  • If the information is not accessible, he/she will be required to contact the main contractors to gain the correct
  • Manage the tracking of all projects with the Company with a view on the project timelines and which projects are live on
  • Communicate with all the Main Contractors on when they will receive their quote but also manage their expectations in terms of the required turnaround
  • After the Company has secured a project, take responsibility to complete a handover folder for the Company's contracts department. This will involve having all the required information i.e. project drawings, project specification, BOQ and all relevant correspondence between the project Architect or Main Contractors that is relevant to our contracts department to complete the
  • Support the team in Dublin, Belfast and Cork with producing project-specific specifications for Architects. Also sending the relevant information to architects when

The Person

  • Will have very good analytical and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
  • A background within the construction/engineering sector would be an advantage preferably educated to degree or diploma level in a construction-related
  • Some experience of working with companies in the construction sector particularly at subcontract level would be
