Daniel Owen has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager at an intermediate level. The role is to work alongside the commercial project team. Main sectors of work will cover Fit-Out on High End Leisure units.

They are looking for an experienced Contract Manager who has previous experience working in this sector.

Duties:

  • Manage the development and performance of all contract operations and establish and maintain relationships
  • Had experience working on projects within New Offices, Labs, Educational building & Student Housing
  • Ensure a high standard of service delivery of both directly delivered and subcontracted services
  • Achieve or exceed service level agreements and key performance indicators as well as identify opportunities for contract improvements and expansion
  • Ensure you area managing the operatives/supervisor's, Contracts Managers Day to day, conducting toolbox talks and performance reviews
  • Have experience of overseeing and seeing through planned, K&B, Internal and External contracts
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client representatives and customers as appropriate and maintain best practice introducing innovative processes which will add value and drive efficiency's
  • Experience managing all the high value major works projects
  • To recruit and develop a team including Contracts Managers, supervisors, tradesman, local contractors
  • Able to price and programme works from drawings, organising labour and materials etc
  • Regularly review service delivery
  • To manage and control the work of the team and external stakeholders on scheme design, resident participation
  • To act as the client representative for all related contracts in line with the requirements of the contract
  • Ensure H&S, regulatory & governance compliance for areas under the job holder's control

Key Knowledge:

  • Experience Fit-Out (Internal and External)
  • A high level of IT literacy across packages including MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
  • The ability to work closely with others
  • provide the commercial director with well-informed options and achieve best outcomes
  • Must be flexible and quick to adapt to support other work streams as and when required
  • The ability to work in a collaborative manner and achieve positive outcomes for the business
