Position: Contracts Manager

Location: North Dublin

Salary: Neg DOE

The Job: My Client, a leader in the field of Building Services/Mechanical Engineering is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team based in North Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects from handover from the Estimating Team to Project Completion
  • Ensure structures are put in place to monitor, review and control project budgets
  • A member of the Senior Management Team supporting and recommending strategies, identifying potential risks or issues to find appropriate resolutions.
  • Develop and agree submission and approvals process with client / design consultants.
  • Develop and monitor material procurement schedules in accordance with schedule requirements.
  • Chair regular internal team, supplier and sub-contractor meetings to co-ordinate and deliver project performance success.
  • An excellent understanding of Health & Safety

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years experience within M + E services and HVAC.
  • Have worked as a Mechanical Contracts Manager in Ireland or UK previously
  • Proven track record of managing M&E projects
  • Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Applicants must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland
