Contracts Manager job in Northamptonshire

Contracts Manager job working for a national housebuilder in their South Midlands region. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have extensive experience in new-build construction and hold a PITJ award.

Our client was established 50 years ago, with 10 offices across the Midlands, East Anglia, South West, and the North West. They are now looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee development across the South Midlands region.

Role & Responsibilities

- Ensure Site Managers are aware of completion targets

- Ensuring product quality and development/product presentation meet or exceed company standards

- Managing the site construction team, including recruitment, induction, performance appraisals etc.

- Providing feedback to the Construction Director on practical and/or cost-effective solutions

- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are met within the site and, where appropriate, off site.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience as a Contracts Manager is preferable

- Experience with CQR's

- Previous experience in managing an on-site team

- Pride in the Job award is preferable

- Relevant Construction qualifications (SMSTS, HNC etc.)

- Full UK Driving License.
