We're looking for a Control Panel Design Engineer to join our Utilities team based in Okehampton, Hatherleigh. Within this role, you can enjoy career progression opportunities and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities.

Location: Okehampton, Hatherleigh

Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you



Responsibilities



In this role, you will be working on a wide range of projects as part of a design team, holding responsibilities for carrying out both outline and detailed design of automation control panels.



Your day to day will include:



  • Designing Form 2 panels and Form 4 MCC's
  • Producing general layout drawings and electrical schematics
  • Production of documentation packages for our in-house panel workshop
  • Undertake factory acceptance testing when required.


What are we looking for?



This role of Control Panel Design Engineer is great for you if you:



  • Hold an industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent.
  • Experience within a similar role of electrical automation systems including motor controls as well as AutoCad Mechanical & Electrical Engineering drawings
