Based: Northampton

Circa £60k plus £9k car allowance, 25% bonus and package

The Role:

This is a great opportunity to join and extremely well ran company to be the leader of the controls & instrumentation division, working within a meritocracy where you have the ability to shape the systems and the people in control of them. It's a growth organisation that would give an experienced C&I engineer the autonomy to research and recommend best practice across Control and Instrumentation engineering.

The main focus is leading and motivating a remote team of C&I engineers, engaging them through own technical knowledge and involving them in project management. You will play a key part in the company wide focus of eliminating risk within sites and feedback to the senior management team on hardware and software efficiency. There is the opportunity to progress into senior management when established in role.

The Right Person:

Your background must show strong Control & Instrumentation knowledge, mainly on DCS, PLC & SCADA systems. From this you will be able to deliver technical best C&I practice / Scada strategy and used to being the 'go to' person.

You will have held similar management positions previously that align to the company values, with passion and commitment to achieve team goals. Your working experiences must be from a critical, safety driven environment such as Power Generation, Utilities or Petrochem. A proven track record of effective project management and budgetary control.

You will have a likeable and open communication style that fosters rapport and great working

relationships, developing strong relationships with the SMT, external and internal customers.
