We're looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator to join our Strategic Projects team in Glasgow. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications and even more.

Contract: Full time, permanent (Monday to Friday)

Kier have been awarded a PCSA contract to develop the design for HMP Glasgow, which is a replacement for the existing adult male establishment at HMP Barlinnie. The project will deliver a new, modern prison that provides secure custody, safe and ordered prison regimes, high standards of decency and care, alongside opportunities for prisoners to develop in a way that helps them reintegrate on return to society on their release.?
The new prison is to accommodate spaces for 1,200 persons along with associated support facilities and regimes with an emphasis on rehabilitation through a focus on health and wellbeing. In developing the design we will explore options for delivering net zero carbon and embrace smart building technologies and automated processes to support the operation of the new facility.

Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator, you'll be working within the Strategic Projects team, supporting them to deliver agreed Social Sustainability targets during the lifecycle of each project and supporting the project teams to implement the Group Sustainability Framework, with responsibility for the social sustainability elements and objectives.
Your day to day will include:

Driving social sustainability on our large scale projects and attending project working groups to lead on social value (where applicable)

Delivering impactful engagement sessions/workshops with local education, employability, and community based partners

Reporting on project CSR performance ensuring accurate data collection across all projects and recording it, along with evidence of activities, via the Thrive system

Producing CSR activity communications, especially best practice examples, create 'Case Studies' for PR and work winning purposes

Have previous CSR/Community Benefit experience

Have a good understanding of the Social Sustainability obligations and requirements as it relates to tenders and live projects

Have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
