Our Design and Business Services unit has an excellent opportunity for a Professional Cost Manager to join our team in Speke. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across a varied client base as well as continued professional and personal development.

Location: Speke with Remote / Hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Full Time- flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for delivering and supporting the provision of professional cost management / quantity surveying services to internal and external clients to aid the delivery of high value projects:

  • Producing feasibility cost studies

  • Carrying out project appraisals and cost planning

  • Cost management

  • Contractor procurement and tendering

  • Contract practice and administration.

What we need from you??

  • Relevant qualification on quantity surveying (ideally degree level)

  • Alignment with RICS (Desired)

  • Demonstrable experience gained within private practice / cost consultancy or Tier 1 Contracting.

  • Track record of delivering cost management services on projects values £5M +

  • Strong contractual knowledge of NEC and JCT conditions

  • Experience of full lifecycle commercial management from feasibility to delivery

  • Excellent communication skill set, able to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
