Cost Planner

Location: As this role will be working nationally, it is an agile role offering home working along with travel to sites and offices when required for the business

Business area: Kier Construction - Clients & Markets

Contract: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Building Clients & Markets require a Cost Planner?to support the wider team in providing commercial and procedural support. You will be developing cost plans and involved in the cost management of national Framework tenders within a variety of public sectors, offering commercial advice on project affordability, cost savings and methods of construction. As a Cost Planner, you will positively contribute to the improvement in quality of response for all bids and pre-qualifications as well as collating cost and commercial data and maintaining accurate records accordingly.


What do we need from you?

You will have a Construction related accredited qualification as well as competency using Excel, knowledge of NRM is also required and you will ideally have a genuine interest in building techniques and methods and an understanding of the specifications of buildings and cost impacts.
