The role:
Reporting to the General Manager Europe, you will have an important hands-on role in the general business, but specifically supporting financial objectives being met (Sales Level, profit targets). You will establishing strong relations and leadership with distributors, advising on local strategy and growth opportunities, maximising brand and product lifecycle opportunities, supporting the integration and launch of new products, and helping to steer the Company through a period of exciting change. Depending on the location, we are open to candidates looking for a permanent or consultancy role.
As the Country Alliance Manager you will:
- Provide support to establish a stronger local presence, ensure compliance in line with local legislation/LA requirements, reinforce connection with payors, stakeholders, customers, and support MKT access and P&R activity.
- Active Alliance Management, lead business relationships with distributors and partners, ensuring KPIs and strategic direction for our products.
- Provide timely business updates and manage performance reviews.
- Interfacing with Local partners regarding key orders and proactively managing bottlenecks through the supply chain.
- Provide volume sales forecasts, monitoring stock, and identify and capture opportunities
- Support multidisciplinary and advice local routes for correcting and preventing supply disruption
- Monitor change in the environment (Legislation, P&R, Competition, etc.)
- Support the profitable development of the regional business.
- Represent Atnahs/Pharmanovia with key stakeholders within the region, including health authorities, key opinion leaders and payors.
- Preparation of Monthly Reports and annual budgets.
About you:
You are a pharmaceutical professional with a background in the specific territory and hands on experience of sales & marketing management.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Medicine, Pharmacy, Business discipline or Marketing
- Advanced experience with brand management, product lifecycle management and product launches, especially in the context of specialty products
- Business driven, fully accustomed to managing the business area through financial and P&L analysis and reporting
- Hands-on experience in managing a Local business within the specialty pharma space
- Scientific expertise and understanding of the therapeutic medical needs in the region
- Have experience in planning and implementing Sales strategy, in the context of Rx Drugs ideally in both Primary and Secondary Care
- An understanding of new product development and the role and activities associated with entering a market and product launch
- Experience in the process of tendering and submission of tenders
- Data driven in decision making with the ability to analyse complex situations
- A background or direct experience in managing alliance partners and distributors in the region is not essential but would be an advantage
- Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a requirement
- International experience beneficial
