Protocol is delighted to be working be a further education college to appoint their new Course Leader for Construction Crafts.

Role responsibilities
Lead a course or courses and contribute to the review, planning and development of the curriculum.
Develop new courses, curricula and/or methods of delivery.
Develop new teaching and learning materials.
To be responsible for student retention, attendance, achievement and success rates for named courses/cohorts of students.
Plan and prepare schemes of work.
Formally teach on a range of courses through a variety of methods.
Devise and apply a range of assessment activities.
Verify and certificate work as appropriate.


The person & qualifications
Cert Ed, PGCE or Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or a willingness to work towards.
Relevant Level 3 qualification in Construction Crafts
Level 2/GCSE maths and English qualifications (C or above)
Experience of teaching a variety of trades
A minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience
