Creative Director Job in Hampshire

Rare opportunity for a Creative Director to join a growing Design and Build firm, based from their head office in Hampshire. The role of Creative Director will see you work across the Group and provide a strategic and collaborative approach for the business, this is a hands-on role involved in the creative and design elements of projects. You will be working alongside the rest of the executive team and assist in the development of the practice and thier portfolio.

This design and build company operates across the South East of England including London with Commercial Fit-outs and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k - £4m. To be considered for this role you will need to have a solid understanding of workplace/commercial design, ideally from a D&B background however consultancy experience will also be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire teams, supporting the company ethos and culture
  • Develop internal practices and processes
  • Involved in concept design, development and assist the team with new ways of approaching projects
  • Manage a team of creatives
  • Mitigate issues and project management
  • Support with wider activities, such as H&S, HR, and KPI reviews/monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or similar
  • 10+ years with a creative industry, ideally workplace/commercial D&B
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe CS
  • Leadership skills
  • Understanding of the wider business activities such as HR, recruitment, H&S, etc.
