Credit Controller to join our growing team in Birmingham. This

What You'll Do:
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively chasing overdue payments and maintaining positive cash flow.
Investigate disputes and discrepancies, resolving them efficiently and amicably.
Secure timely payments by negotiating agreements and implementing effective credit control procedures.
Conduct credit checks and monitor customer creditworthiness.
Prepare and process invoices and credit notes.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports to support team and company goals.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years' experience in a credit control role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of credit control principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and resolve disputes professionally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
Ambition to progress to a management role within the company.
